Automotive
Suppliers' Day Baden-Württemberg

5 November 2020

Welcome

The COVID-19 pandemic poses enormous challenges to the global economy. Supply chains are disrupted and important sales markets are still weakened. Initial indicators are now showing a positive trend and the core industries in Baden-Württemberg – automotive engineering and the supplier industry – are opting for new strategies. The COVID-19 relief measures at federal and state level provided support at an early stage. However, they are not a substitute for a strategic transformation process towards new products, processes and markets. Smart connectivity of products, software-based services and agile manufacturing processes are key factors. The Automotive Suppliers' Day Baden-Württemberg looks ahead, provides a significant impetus and promotes an exchange of ideas even in times of physical distancing!

We are convinced: International networks, a zest for innovation and a strong will to seize the opportunities of technological progress at all times have been the core values of our companies in Baden-Württemberg. These virtues are also indispensable when it comes to overcoming crises.

During this digital event, we will also be looking at international markets, such as China, their approaches for coping with the crisis and their strategies for economic recovery. The Automotive Suppliers' Day Baden-Württemberg also offers the concrete benefit of getting to know companies from Belgium or Denmark that are interested in cooperating with Baden-Württemberg-based automotive suppliers.

Seize this opportunity to shape the mobility of tomorrow in Baden-Württemberg! We are looking forward to an exciting digital exchange!
